With a modern rock sound and influences from genres such as post-hardcore, R&B, pop and metalcore, Sleep Theory have become one of the most up-and-coming heavy acts in the USA since their debut single in 2023. This is proven not only by the viral success of their first singles, but also by tours supporting Shinedown, Falling In Reverse, Beartooth, Wage War and Nothing More. The band has also played at festivals such as Louder Than Life and Welcome To Rockville and continues to delight their growing global fanbase, especially online, with their catchy songs. Following the release of their debut EP, Sleep Theory released their debut album "Afterglow" in May, which earned the band a nomination for "Best International Breakthrough Artist" at the Heavy Music Awards. Just a few months after the album's release, it already had seven-digit streaming views on Spotify and has become an integral part of modern rock and metal playlists. In February 2026, Sleep Theory will be touring Europe on their The Afterglow Tour, stopping off at Logo in Hamburg, Hole 44 in Berlin and Technikum in Munich. Support act will be The Pretty Wild .

Sleep Theory was formed in 2019 as a solo project by singer Cullen Moore in Memphis, Tennessee. In the same year, Moore met bassist Paolo Vergara, who joined his project. In 2023, the band found its current line-up with Ben Pruitt as drummer and Daniel Pruitt as guitarist. When Sleep Theory released their debut single "Another Way" in January 2023, the track went viral on TikTok and garnered over 500,000 views within the first 36 hours. A few months later, Epitaph Records signed the band, who then released the singles "Numb", "Gone or Staying" and "Fallout". The songs quickly became the band's top tracks, which they bundled together on their debut EP "PaperHearts" in 2023, making their first major mark. After the further singles "Stuck In My Head", "Paralyzed", "Static", "III" and "Gravity", the band announced their debut album "Afterglow" in 2025, which was released in May 2025. On it, Sleep Theory presents their sound between alternative rock and post-hardcore with influences from nu-metal and pop and delivers "the musical echo of an emotional rollercoaster", according to MoreCore.de. The work brought the band into the Billboard 200 for the first time, where the album entered at number 117. With their debut album in the bag, Sleep Theory are coming to Europe on their first major headline tour, following on from their successful The Afterglow Tour in the USA.
