Sleeping is overrated. If you don't want to sink into the realm of dreams on New Year's Eve after the fireworks and all the firecrackers, we can highly recommend our New Year's welcome party "Sleepless in Palaispolis". And you should definitely hold out until 7 a.m., because then you can enjoy hot wieners with fresh Pfister bread, cheese and fresh fruit as a vitamin booster after all that high-proof disco spritzer at the small bar on the first floor until 10 a.m.

But let's move on to the line-up for the night and the day, which we won't be ending until 8pm. Our homeboy Blumenau, who has been regularly planting his melodic techno sets in our ears since the end of 2024, will be firing off the first bangers and is sure to have a few gems up his sleeve for the start of the year.

After a brief chat, DJ Linus takes over the controls. The Sujet label boss has been something like our House-AmBASSador for countless years and should of course not be missing at the calendar change.

The same goes for George Bleicher, whose WE PLaY party series has been keeping the players hot for many years. For New Year's Eve, he has put together his favorites of the year, but will of course also feed the system with a few old favorites.

At lunchtime on New Year's Day, we will be welcoming Heiko Wuscher, alias DJ Sonic, to the Pulpit. He started his DJ career back in 1989 at the time of reunification and has collected all kinds of milestones in the techno scene, from the Love Parade to Rave on Snow, with his residency with us at the Palais being the longest lasting liaison. For us, he is "Iconic Sonic" and will inaugurate the new year with his rousing beats.

Sandra Gold, the head and face of the Discotribe party circuit, will then take over the controls. She too can look back on more than 30 years of passion for music and has inspired many other up-and-coming DJs. Sandra's sound from the vast field of electronic music is always versatile and boundary-pushing, with the groove gold standard always evident.

The final shift on the first day of the new year is a thing for Steffen Lengler, who regularly greets dance-loving people at the "Hello People" events. He was pretty busy producing in 2025 and has produced almost ten of his own tracks and remixes. He will certainly put a best-of on his Sleepless playlist. So going to bed is only possible after the news ...

From 7-10h there will be refreshments at the small bar downstairs on the ground floor with hot wieners and fresh Pfister bread, cheese and fresh fruit.
