Digital technologies are changing our cities - even in Munich. Whether online appointments with the authorities, apps for citizen participation or intelligent traffic management: digitalization is supposed to make life easier. But how is this change actually happening and what are the benefits for citizens in their everyday lives? In this short, compact keynote speech, Ms Dornheim shows how digitalization works, where Munich stands - and what can be improved.
