Sing along, listen and get in the mood for Advent: together with members of the BR Choir under the direction of Howard Arman, you will sing four-part choral pieces - whether practiced or not, everyone is welcome! In between, Gerald Huber tells the story of 12,000 years of Christmas history with a twinkle in his eye. An experience that combines music, storytelling and a pre-Christmas atmosphere in a wonderful way.

The Bavarian Radio Choir is held in high esteem all over the world thanks to its special tonal homogeneity and stylistic versatility. Founded in 1946 and based in Munich, the choir is one of the few professional choirs in Bavaria and is one of seven radio choirs of the ARD regional broadcasting stations.

Gerald Huber M.A., born in Landshut in 1962, studied history and linguistics in Regensburg and Munich. The radio journalist (BR) is the author of numerous programs and books on cultural and historical topics. He became known to a wide audience with his "Bairische Wortkunde", which is currently being published by Volk Verlag in a revised new edition.
