Once a month, the excellent-sounding concert hall of the Bonifatiuskirche is transformed into a place where genre boundaries dissolve and a common pulse emerges. For their current edition of SOIL, singer NI-KA and pianist Jona Heckmann once again invite guest artists to combine their influences with the energy of the up-and-coming Frankfurt scene. The sound of SOIL moves between neo-soul, hip-hop, jazz and experimental music. Guest artists on stage are: Laureen Mobo, singer and composer, Bright Osei Boadu, bassist and multi-instrumentalist and Max Lange who deals with electronic drum and bass beats.
