DREKHUND
Drekhund, a unique and captivating duo founded in 2020 and making their debut at Psychobilly Meeting 2025, will take you on an exciting journey through the dark, swampy landscapes of the bayou, combining swamp blues, bluegrass and a touch of psychobilly for an unforgettable experience.

The duo consists of two extraordinary musicians. Matt, the mastermind behind Drekhund, is a one-man band who sings and plays guitar, banjo, harmonica and drums at the same time. This creates a sound that feels like a complete band. He is complemented by Seb, a double bass virtuoso with over 25 years of experience. His self-taught rockabilly and psychobilly techniques add depth and rhythm and transport the listener to another world.

Drekhund's music is a vibrant blend of dark, swampy blues and energetic rhythms, combining infectious beats with the haunting appeal of bayou-inspired melodies. Their first album, released in 2022 on Badbilly Records, laid the foundation for their signature sound, and their second album, released in 2024, further expands their musical universe.
