"Ricordi del sud" - The summer concerts of the Bläserphilharmonie Aachen

Under the direction of Lars Corijn, the Bläserphilharmonie Aachen presents its program entitled "Ricordi del sud". Look forward to a journey to the south of Europe, Mediterranean flair and breathtaking expanses.

The Bläserphilharmonie Aachen was founded in 2013 by students of RWTH Aachen University and, despite its still young orchestral history, can already look back on great successes, such as twice winning a gold medal with distinction at the WMC in Kerkrade, the World Championships for Wind Music, in 2017 and 2022 and a second prize at the Flicorno d'Oro in Riva del Garda in 2026. The orchestra mainly plays original music from symphonic-concertante wind music. This semester's program includes works by Jan Van der Roost, Julie Giroux, Bob Margolis, Martin Ellerby, Philipp Lauter and Oscar Navarro.
