Soulfood Dance Night: DJ Sportwagen & DJ Akim B. mit Jo Jacobs

The Soulfood Dance Night is Frankfurt's most popular funk, soul & disco party. Since 2010, resident DJs Mr. Brown and Sportwagen have been treating fans of soul, funk, disco and old-school hip hop. The original home base, the English Theatre Frankfurt, is currently being renovated and the party series has been on the move to different locations ever since. The wonderful premises of the ROMANFABRIK will once again be transformed into the grooviest dance floor in Frankfurt.

Musically, you can expect the typical soulfood mix with songs and remixes from the entire soul spectrum of the last 60 years, from rhythm & blues to soulful house and everything in between. The mix is a little different every month, but a dancing mood is always guaranteed.

In December, DJ Sportwagen and special guest DJ Akim B. await you on the decks. Akim B.'s sound is a mixture of funk, soul and house - a soul trip through time that always gets your legs moving! We are also particularly looking forward to multi-media artist Jo Jacobs. He will be at Soulfood once again with his video projections. Jo will be performing live in the ROMANFABRIK with individual projections and creating a whole new flair. Lights on, stage free.
