When the Scandinavian rock wave swept across Europe almost 30 years ago, the members of both bands weren't even playing in rock'n'roll kindergarten. Nevertheless, you can clearly hear the influences of well-known bands from Oslo and Stockholm. What has occasionally been described in the music press as "Scandinavian Swinerock" still finds fans today, and SOUTH OF SUNDAYS and HATHORS are a no-brainer.

The noise rock of HATHORS, enriched with a touch of pop, changes from quiet to loud tones and triggers a spectrum of emotions. This alt-rock rollercoaster with its intense noise appeal is aptly titled "When the Sun is Out / When Skies Are Grey". This is where grating vocals meet noise-rock intensity, while at the same time outrageously catchy pop-punk flirts with grunge influences.

The four-piece rock combo SOUTH OF SUNDAYS has set out to write a new chapter in the book of Danish rock music. A good round of rock with influences from stoner rock and grunge. The music is quite heavy and at the same time very melodic. "With Honey Tongue, South Of Sundays delivers a strong and varied rock album in early 2024 that has great potential."
