Can feminism and religion coexist? "Girls & Gods" is a fearless journey, led by Inna Shevchenko, the author and initiator of the project, to answer this very question. Shevchenko, who once became known as the leader of FEMEN's topless protests against patriarchal power structures, now swaps protest for dialog.
dialog by inviting female priests, imams, rabbis, theologians and other activists to open discussions. Together, they are addressing the gap between women's rights and religious traditions and asking whether ancient religions can accept gender equality and whether feminism can find a place in the sacred halls.
