You just can't get enough of the written, read or performed word? But you want to let off steam yourself and see what your inner self, your thoughts and your voice put down on paper?

Then come to our Spektakel writing workshop at the Garagencampus. From April 18 until September, you will have the opportunity to network with other writing enthusiasts and try your hand at writing once a month.

The writing workshops will be led by experienced authors from the fields of stage and book. They will give you the tricks and tools you need to make your texts really polished. It doesn't matter whether you already have experience or are a complete novice who just wants to try it out.

We welcome all age groups, all levels of experience and your curiosity.

Incidentally, the events are accessible and participation is free of charge.

So muster up your writing courage and come along, try it out and lend your voice to the texts.

The first workshop will be led by Stefanie Menschner. She is a poetry slamer, author, copywriter, presenter and improvisational theater actress. She has been performing on stage since she was 12 years old and has been slamming for over 8 years. Her book "stets bemüht" was published in 2022 and is an anthology of many different short stories. She is also a member of Spektakel Chemnitz e.V. and has been a Chemnitz resident for 7 years now. She is just as excited as you are and is really looking forward to everyone taking part (she said so herself).
