After the death of their parents, two sisters (Summer Greenberg and Amanda Flowers) find themselves in two completely different places due to the mysterious powers of a malevolent creature. In order to save the world, they have to find their way back to each other and meet a host of bizarre and mysterious characters along the way. "Spirit Riser" draws on the tropes of horror B-movies from the 70s and 80s to create an intermedia masterpiece of trash - including prominent guest appearances from Cherrie Currie, Alan Merrill and Dorian Electra, among others. "Spirit Riser" is a low-budget project made over 7 years with amateur acting - in the best possible way. Director Dylan Mars Greenberg's final result is a sensory overloaded, innovative horror-action-comedy - for lovers of the genre a cult classic in the making and truly punk.
