A recording studio on the second floor and several film studios below - what does that mean in a book show?
Picture books unfold their narrative power in the combination of image and text. New meanings, narrative threads, ideas and details emerge from reading aloud (setting to music) and further processing the pictures - also in the interaction with those listening and watching. We take picture books from the current book exhibition and use them as source material for live sound recordings as well as written and pictorial narratives at our film stations.
The joint production is repeatedly interrupted by spontaneous performances, to which everyone is cordially invited. PICTURE BOOKS LIVE ON STAGE!
