The artists' collective SPRING has been publishing the anthology of the same name for 20 years, creating a stage for the diverse voices of female illustrators from Germany and other countries. What unites them is their passion for storytelling with graphic means - the visualization of stories. The focus is on personal and professional exchange: all decisions are made jointly and democratically. Every year, the artists come together and discuss which theme could be relevant and exciting for the new edition. The power of the collective opens up a space for fun, constructive and intensive collaboration. The documentary about SPRING was filmed from 2018 to 2023.
