URBAN MANNERS

Städtische Manieren is an experimental alternative rock band from Germany. Oscillating between seething, unleashing and poetic curiosity, they constantly re-explore the full range of guitar, bass, vocal and drum sounds. They take on familiar forms only to abandon them again, juggling the alternative aesthetic of the 90s and contemporary avant-garde, mixing in disjointed disco and punk elements.

This strangely unique, hypnotic sound manifests itself in their debut album 'Posterchild', the release of which they will celebrate on November 9 at Kukulida Dresden.

This will be preceded by experimental dream-psych from TINTED HOUSE:

Their sound doesn't suggest it, but yes - Tinted House is a Dresden-based band with an international line-up featuring members from the USA and UK.

Their debut album "Heavens" (2021) could be described relatively clearly as psychedelic dream pop, but the new album now goes in all directions. On "Heartbeat-Shake", the tempo and creativity increase significantly. In addition to traces of 60s beat, psych and folk, synth and krautrock can also be discovered. Think Mazzy Star, Khurangbin, Yo La Tengo, Mild High Club and The Velvet Underground. Their live shows are a wild mix of experimentation, chaotic intensity and performative interludes with guaranteed enchantment - don't miss them!
