Stand-Up Comedy Workshop

3-day STAND-UP COMEDY WORKSHOP with Pegah Meggendorfer & Hani Who

Fancy getting on stage and trying out stand-up comedy yourself, but have little or no experience?
Then this workshop is just right for you!

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Basic techniques of stage performance
• Introduction to joke writing: develop your own first bits and your first set through practical exercises
• Individual feedback on your ideas and texts
• Individual feedback on your performance & stage persona
• A live performance at the final show
• Insight into the stand-up scene
• A group of motivated people who are just as keen on stand-up as YOU!

ALL are welcome at this workshop. However, as we especially want to encourage women to take part and take their first steps on stage in a supportive environment, we are lotterying 2 wildcards. Our aim is to get more women interested in the comedy scene and thus contribute to its diversity.

The Comedy für Freunde Club provides the ideal venue for this - both for the workshop and for the final performance.

DATES

The workshop will take place over two days, with a final performance on Sunday:

• Friday, May 01, 2026 - 12:00 to 17:00 (theory)
• Saturday, May 02, 2026 - 11:00 to 16:00 (Writing)
• Sunday, May 03, 2026 - Performance evening 19:00 (Performance)

COACHES

Hani Who
A veteran of the Munich comedy scene, founder of the Comedy für Freunde Club, winner of several awards and a permanent fixture on Germany's stages for years.

Pegah Meggendorfer
A fresh face in German comedy, known for her honest, charming humor and her own show in Munich. Among other things, she is the author of the TV show Anstalt.

Together they bring their experience, passion and lots of fun to this workshop - authentic, motivating and with heart for the stage.

The workshop costs €150 (incl. taxes).
