Intensive research is currently being carried out in the field of mobility - from innovative drive technologies and new mobility and sharing models to questions of future coexistence in urban and rural areas. Research is not only concerned with technological developments, but also with social challenges such as demographic change, increasing urban growth and achieving climate targets. The session will take a look at the current state of research and shed light on how research can actively contribute to the mobility transition. It will also address the question of how mobility can be made more sustainable, digital and liveable in the future. In the form of exciting pitches, participants will gain insights into specific projects and current scientific findings from Munich and beyond.
