Tom and Louise want to save their marriage. She cheated on him and he moved out of their home - now they see each other once a week for couples therapy. Before that, they always meet in the pub. Over a drink or two, the proverbial skeletons are brought out of the closet and the problems that have been swept under the carpet are brought to the table. They argue, laugh, ponder and engage in verbal battles. Will they manage to mend their marriage in the end?

Since the 1990s, British author and screenwriter Nick Hornby has been entertaining a wide audience with bestsellers such as Ball Fever, High Fidelity, About a Boy and A Long Way Down. The film adaptations of his books are also extremely successful and popular.
