Stefan Verhasselt is the Niederrheiner among cabaret artists. Many also know him as a WDR4 presenter. In his 6th cabaret program, he once again "philosophizes" his way through the idiosyncrasies and absurdities of our society with subtle and sometimes really weird humour and shows what we deform and disfigure every day. All without costume or scenery, but always above the belt and with empathy for his fellow human beings. So that the audience will realize afterwards: "That's exactly how it is - just like at home".
The new program is about cows in home offices, dogs in transitional coats and artificial intelligence in cabaret. You'll also find out why young people no longer eat asparagus, but everything in bowls instead, how data protection is faring around us and what's happening in the Lower Rhine region. The program also thrives on "association practice" - a characteristic that Lower Rhine people like Stefan Verhasselt seem to be born with: one minute we're pondering when the brown garbage can will next be emptied, the next minute we're turning to the rumour of who is dying.
