With many small stalls, numerous lights, the smell of punch and a cozy atmosphere, a visit to the Christmas market in the old town is a cherished tradition during the Advent season in Monheim. In 2025, it will take place on the third and fourth weekends of Advent, i.e. December 12, 13 and 14 as well as December 19, 20 and 21.

Numerous creative huts invite you to browse and discover a wide range of gift ideas, most of which are handmade: jewelry, woodwork and blacksmithing, toys, painting and art, pottery, bookbinding, decorations, knitted, crocheted, sewn and embroidered items, lighting and light decorations as well as high-quality, sealed foods such as spirits, coffee, delicacies, tea, spices and jams. Numerous food trucks and local restaurants offer traditional Christmas dishes, homemade mulled wine and snacks to take away.

There is an atmospheric stage program and walking acts for young and old. A visit from Santa Claus and a children's carousel will also enrich this year's Christmas market.
