Stitch by stitch - creative time out with needle & thread

Create a small embroidery hoop or give your favorite piece new life with fine embroidery details.

In this workshop, you will either create a small embroidery hoop or upcycle your own garment with fine embroidery details. Step by step, you will learn basic stitch types and create your own motif - without any prior knowledge.

Whether quiet and minimalist or playful and personal: the focus is on slowing down, creativity and the joy of handmade work. You will work in a relaxed atmosphere and take home a unique piece of your own design at the end.

Material & info

Included:

• Embroidery hoop (for all those who would like to design a hoop)

• High-quality embroidery threads in various colors

• Needles, scissors and all working materials

• Templates & inspiration for motifs and lettering

• Introduction to basic stitch types

• Personal instruction and support during the workshop

Bring along:

• Optional: your own item of clothing or textile for upcycling
  (e.g. denim jacket, blouse, shirt, shirt or fabric bag)

• Desire for creativity and a conscious time-out
