A transnational, multilingual play about belonging, language and the search for common ground.
What does it mean to belong? Is belonging a place? A language? Or is it a feeling that arises through encounters?
"Stories of Belonging" is a collective journey through memories, languages and realities of life.
It follows the following questions: Where am I at home? Who am I between two worlds? What remains when I leave everything behind - and nothing completely?
In a multilingual collage of personal stories, drama, dance and music, the performers speak in Turkish, Spanish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Russian, English, Arabic and German about connection, loss, war, childhood and the present, as well as foreignness and closeness.
It is not only about origins, but also about the future and the search for a place that we can create together.
