Street art photo safari - out and about in Altona with your camera

What do you notice when you walk through Altona? Which pictures on walls catch your eye? Which places seem strong, loud, secret or simply different?

In this workshop, you will immerse yourself in the world of street art - you will find out who is behind it, what the art in the district says and what it does to you. With your camera, you search for your own view: How do you want to capture it? What do you show, what do you leave out? Discover street art - and show what you see in it.

Our goal: We want to introduce you to the world of photography - in a way that makes it fun! You'll learn how your camera works, get simple tips from a professional and get to be creative. Above all, however, it's about sharpening your eye and discovering your surroundings in a completely new way.

What we do:

• Exciting forays through Altona

• Photography with the camera

• Technical basics explained in simple terms

• Creative work with light, colors and perspectives

• Digital image processing on the computer

• At the end: your own small photo exhibition - and your work to take home!

Who is it for? For teens aged 12-16 who are keen on creative adventures - without any previous knowledge!

• 09.10. Photo safari through Altona (meeting point: Zeisehallen, Altona)

• 16.10. Photo safari through Altona (meeting point: Zeisehallen, Altona)

• 06.11. Image editing with Tom & Mikiko, (Meeting point: GWA Medienzentrum St. Pauli, Hein-Köllisch-Platz 11, 20359 Hamburg)

• 13.11. Closing & exhibition 16:00 - 19:00, vernissage at 18:00 - parents welcome!

  Joint outward journey possible from Altona S-Bahn station (Akademie für Fotografie, Hasselbrookstraße 25, 22089 Hamburg)

25.09./ 02.10./ 09.10./ 16.10./ 06.11./ 13.11. each from 17:30 - 19:00, final exhibition from 16:00 - 19:00

A maximum of 10 children can take part.

Cameras and all equipment will be provided by the academy for all workshops.
