The silent film "Faust" by Friedrich W. Murnau (1926) will be shown in the columbarium and set to music live on the organ.
Murnau retells Goethe's drama in a film that is known for its innovative visual effects, its play with light and shadow and its elaborate set design, which made the silent film a masterpiece of German film history.
Jan Arlt, artist, film composer and organist, sets the film projected on the screen to music live on the pipe organ of the former Rheinkirche.
