We invite you to a mixed music show with a wide variety of guests, the Südbahnhofkonzerte at Bahnwärter Thiel.
The format is based on donations for the artists.
Lou Pa [Vienna]
LOU PA create a world of sound in which driving beat waves crash against fuzzy guitars, while fragile vocal melodies float above powerful gang vocals. Their music sounds like a departure into a sphere of its own - between indie and edgy pop. With melodies that burn themselves into the memory and words that shine like secret messages between the lines. What once began as an acoustic trio in the cozy kitchen of their shared student flat has evolved into a band that takes the audience into its own emotional world with warm harmonies and narrative intensity. The upcoming album "Love Portfolio", produced with Mario Fartacek in Vienna, feels like a journey through shimmering summer nights and stormy worlds of thought - powerful and floating, approachable and also detached.
Nobutthefrog [Nuremberg]
All passionate language becomes musical by itself - and the music that the Nuremberg songwriting duo Nobutthefrog brings into the world is pure passion and touches people deep in their souls. With their top-class band, they bring a rousing show to the stage that is rooted in folk music, but still jumps light-footedly across genre boundaries and refuses to be pigeonholed musically.
Host: Lidloop [Munich]
Our wonderful host Lidloop leads through the evening: Martin Lidl plays Lidloop. Improvised music with a loop machine - a soft sound, a groovy something, suddenly it repeats itself, swells, becomes more and more intense, breaks out, hits hooks and then suddenly lands in surprisingly cozy realms only to take off like Zack the next moment! Or to paraphrase Karl Valentin: there are directions lurking around every corner! Lidl is a musician and as such has been an integral part of the Munich cabaret and world music scene for years.
