Suminagashi means "flowing ink" and is one of the oldest marble techniques in Japan.

In this workshop, you will learn this meditative technique in which ink is used to create fine, organic patterns on the surface of water. Gentle movements are used to transfer the flowing forms onto paper.

A decelerating experience that creates space for mindfulness, chance and creative expression.

• Suitable for beginners
• No previous knowledge required
• Small groups, max. 6 participants

Location: Studio Philyra, Hansaallee 321 , Halle 2 40549 Düsseldorf / Areal Böhler (between Café Böhler and Pizzeria La Strada).

Bring along:

• Work clothes/an apron is advantageous
• DINA 4 folder for the works of art

Separate appointments are also possible for groups of 4 or more.
