On Saturday, November 15, Summers Sons, a jazz-rap group from South London, will be performing at the Musikbar im Bunker. The two brothers Turt (microphone) and Slim (production) Summers will be accompanied by pianist and singer Charlie Tappin and none other than Cologne beat guru Twit One.

Dare To Wonder is the new album by the Summers Sons and consists of 12 songs about love, life and connection. Rapper Turt explains: "'Dare to wonder what it could be' is the first line of the first verse and sums up everything this album is about. It's about not taking a cookie-cutter approach and believing in the possibility of breaking new ground. Despite all the obstacles, we have remained steadfastly committed to our vision: To create music that feeds the soul. 'Dare To Wonder' is a reminder to hold on to dreams, no matter how far away they may seem."

Compared to Sons' previous albums, "Dare To Wonder" can confidently be described as a feel-good album in the best sense of the word. It doesn't close its eyes to the madness of today's world. But it dares us to take a step back and marvel at the beauty of the world around us; to wonder ourselves. Wonder awakens our curiosity and makes us hungry for more knowledge. But it also humbles us - stops us from believing we already know everything.

"Dare To Wonder" was released on October 10 on vinyl and as a download. The artwork for the single and album was created by London-based video artist Seb Luke-Virgo, who has also produced and directed several accompanying music videos.
