Super Sonic Cobra Night Vol. 2

Simple language: We are doing a concert with 3 bands. The bands are all from Marburg and the surrounding area. They play rock music.

The new album "Nothing But Lies" is out. Of course, with Supercobra you can still hear in some songs that they like rock 'n' roll from Sweden, but punk influences and wild rock 'n' roll numbers are not to be missed. But there is also a touch of Judas Priest, a breeze of double leads à la Thin Lizzy or even Elvis Costello & the Attractions, 60s beat and indie vibes on the new album. Despite the diversity, the record seems to be a unified whole! Catchy vocals, wild drums, a creaking bass and wild guitars blend into the Supercobra signature sound: powerful, rousing and danceable. All in all, "Nothing But Lies", the band's fourth album, simply sounds like Supercobra. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!!!

Bastardo 's style ranges from heavy to stoner to hard blues rock. The guys have been rocking since 2002 and are constantly developing their sound à la Motörhead, Monster Magnet and Kyuss without losing sight of their own style. Bastardo's music is difficult to pigeonhole. Rousing guitar riffs, a fat, heavy bass, rolling grooving drums and a distinctive voice are the cornerstones of their music... in short, the typical "Bastardo sound".

Apewards spins a web of fuzzy blues rock, stoner grooves and psych-rock, fueled by a bottomless reservoir of riffs. The trio recently released their fourth album "Liminal Choices" to an extremely positive response. The record contrasts tight and focused songs with '70s-inspired psychedelic escapades rooted in a loose, hero's journey-inspired concept.

Live, the Marburg band ignites fireworks that know no mercy: driving grooves, riffs drenched in pure fuzz and a voice full of energy. This is no laid-back stoner jam. This is a precisely executed punch in the gut. A must for fans of Audioslave, All Them Witches or Greenleaf.
