Who will be Nico Santos' support act?

Up-and-coming bands from all over Germany had the chance to apply for the coveted spot as Nico Santos' support act. A jury of experts selected four acts from numerous entries to face the audience live at the big "Support the Star" band contest in the MUK Rotunda.
The central question is: Which band will win over the jury and audience alike and secure their place as Nico Santos' support act live at the MUK on 15.04.2026?

In the live contest, the four final bands will show what musical passion means with their own songs. They want to captivate the audience, arouse emotions and prove that they have real star potential. It's not just the jury's verdict that counts - the audience also votes live on site, turning the evening into a special, interactive live experience.

In the end, the decision is in the hands of the jury and the audience - both scores count equally. This will reveal which band brings the greatest overall package of talent, energy and stage presence and secures the coveted support appearance alongside Nico Santos. A highlight that crowns the competition and represents an important step for the musicians on their career path.

With the band contest, the MUK is committed to promoting young talent and creating a stage on which the stars of tomorrow can showcase themselves.
