Wild, shameless and seductive: Sven Ratzke dives into the wicked twenties of the bubbling metropolis of Berlin, into a time of ultimate freedom, when being different did not irritate, but inspired. Anything is possible - free art, debauchery, lived fantasy. The grandiose entertainer with an extra dose of sexiness takes us into the legendary nightlife of the city's contrasting worlds, into the Berlin of gray alleys and large theaters, wild clubs and small dives.

On the premiere evening of the "Threepenny Opera", we meet Josefine Baker, Bertolt Brecht, Marlene Dietrich, scandalous nude dancer Anita Berber and experience the contrasting worlds of glamor and poverty, classical music and jazz, drugs and ecstasy and the queens of the night. The brilliant storyteller Sven Ratzke succeeds in creating an exciting "tightrope walk on the volcano": fascinating entertainment, sensational stage design and first-class music fabulously maintain the balance between inhibition and hopelessness, which pulsated exactly 100 years ago and has frighteningly many similarities with the present day.

With the virtuoso strings of the renowned Matangi Quartet, he presents new arrangements of Kurt Weill's music in a completely new sound world: swing, chanson, jazz, cinematic head cinema, grooving beat - unique and incomparable. This evening is a grandiose mixture of one-man show and musical theater.
