SWEET ERMENGARDE play gothic rock that echoes the dark and oppressive side of the British 80s decade. The musical influences range from early post-punk and goth rock to progressive rock and ambient.

Sweet Ermengarde's music is characterized by elegiac echo guitars, epic soundscapes, trance-like drums and the driving, sophisticated bass lines of band founder Lars Kappeler. The albums "Raynham Hall" and "Ex Oblivione" have long been regarded as classics of the genre.

With the current album "Sacrifice", Sweet Ermengarde send the listener on an intense trip that combines the dark, melancholic side of the band with powerful, melodic passages to create a gripping live performance.

CHRISTINE PLAYS VIOLA is an Italian darkwave band that was founded in 2008 in Pratola Peligna (Abruzzo).

With the albums "Innocent Awareness" (2011), "Vacua" (2014), "Spooky Obsessions" (2016) and "Fading" (2020), Christine Play Viola playfully move between post-punk, goth rock and darkwave.

They first became known to a wider audience in Germany when they performed at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen 2016.

Christine Plays Viola will be bringing their new album "F.I.V.E." (Fear Increases Violent Emotions).

After the premature end of the post-punk band ROSI, Mirco Rappsilber founded the new duo THE CALM GREY with singer Rio (Atomic Neon) in a fit of creativity.

The melancholic atmosphere - often very danceable songs -, Rio's new wave vocals and Mirco's beautifully accentuated guitar make for a great overall package of post-punk, new wave and no wave.
