Symposium zur Ausstellung »Guido Jendritzko zum 100. Geburtstag«

From sculptor to conceptual artist: The Von der Heydt-Museum Wuppertal, Turmhof 8, is honoring Guido Jendritzko (1925 Kirchhain/Niederlausitz - 2009 Wuppertal) on the occasion of his 100th birthday until 8 February with an exhibition entitled "Guido Jendritzko: On his 100th birthday". The Von der Heydt-Museum is organizing a symposium to mark the exhibition's finissage on Friday, 6 February 2026, 3-6 pm. Based on the work of Guido Jendritzko, the art scene of the 1960s and 70s in Wuppertal will be discussed. One focus will be on the Werkkunstschule as the place of origin of a multidisciplinary avant-garde with international appeal.
