In our Table Read Xmas special it gets contemplative! This time we are showing the Christmas classic par excellence: STIRB LANGSAM!

Every year, the blockbuster flickers across our screens at home and makes the hearts of fans of cultivated car chases, stunts and explosions beat faster. Bruce Willis is at the top of his game as the tough police officer and fights heavily armed gangsters at Christmas. And so the battle of good versus evil fits perfectly into this festive season: Yippie-ya-yay, pig cheek.

A new reading series entitled "Table Read" is being launched at the Rottstr 5 Theater.
The permanent cast on stage includes actor Benjamin Werner and musician Dominik Otremba, who will be supported by changing special guests from different artistic fields, just as the stories and texts will vary with each edition.
In a stage set-up reduced to the bare essentials, the stories unfold live before the audience's inner and outer eye, pure and direct.

Special guest: Alexander Gier
Born in Buenos Aires/Argentina, he grew up in Frankfurt am Main and completed his acting studies at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna in 2006. He works as an actor for film, television and theater and is also known as a professional speaker for a wide variety of formats.

Benjamin Werner is an actor and has appeared on stage at the Rottstr 5 Theater in plays such as "1984", "Die Eröffnung" and "Schöne Neue Welt". He also runs the successful podcast channel "Der Vorleser" on YouTube, where he presents a short story from the fields of science fiction, fantasy or horror every week.

Dominik Otremba
Dominik Otremba is a musician from Essen and is active with his wave chanson project "Performance".
Otremba studies pop music at the Institute for Pop Music at the Folkwang University of the Arts and has already shared the stage with artists such as Andreas Dorau, Messer, Die Heiterkeit, Dagobert, die Sauna, Vomit Heat and Die Selektion and can regularly be seen at small and large events of various formats, especially in the Ruhr area.
