Tag der offenen Tür in der Beethovenhalle

The Beethovenhalle shines in new splendor - a new home for music in Bonn is being created. The Beethovenfest wants to make this place of music open and accessible to everyone and is organizing an open day with Free admission together with the operating company BonnCC and the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn on 20 December.

The doors will be open from the early afternoon and the newly renovated Beethovenhalle will be ready to be explored musically. The program starts with an improvisation on the Klais organ in the main hall. Musicians from the Beethovenfest Talents and Beethovenfest Fellows will take turns performing in the foyers, studios and seminar rooms. Beethovenfest Community Musician Juri de Marco invites you to a sing-along concert with the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn. In the evening, the opening of the new studio in the Beethovenhalle will be celebrated, made possible by Sparkasse KölnBonn. The Studio is a newly designed concert hall within the Beethovenhalle with seating for up to 500 people. Also on stage there: the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn performing Beethoven's Fifth Symphony under the direction of Dirk Kaftan.

2.15 pm: Organ improvisation in the main hall

4 p.m.: Sing-along concert in the Great Hall with Beethovenfest Community Musician Juri de Marco and the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn conducted by Dirk Kaftan

7 pm: Opening of the new studio with the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn and Beethoven's Fifth Symphony
