In the organizer's words:

Hundreds of Jewish children and young people recorded their experiences during the Nazi dictatorship in diary entries, letters and essays and vividly describe their experiences of persecution, exclusion and terror. On "Source Day", pupils will present historical documents from children and young people from the National Socialist era in a variety of creative ways and bring their perspectives to life. Some of the contributions will draw a bridge to the present day. Individual schools will dedicate their contribution to the thematic focus of the evening event"Conversations against Forgetting" and deal with the relevance of the Nuremberg Trials, moderated by Özlem Sarıkaya (BR).
