In the organizer's words:

Open Monument Day at the Bilker Bunker: We have a program for you again this year on 14 September!

The historical exhibition "The Bilker Bunker through the ages" and the current group exhibition "Street Photography" will be open free of charge from 12-5pm.

We also offer two guided tours to explore the utilization concept:
2:30pm & 3:30pm // Only with registrations via the event in rausgegangen // limited to 20 people.

Drinks and snacks are available outside on our BUNKER TERRACE, weather permitting.

The Day of the Open Monument:

• is the largest cultural event in Germany and the German contribution to the European Heritage Days
• takes place annually on the 2nd Sunday in September
• draws attention to the preservation of monuments in Germany and the importance of monument protection
• has been coordinated nationwide by the German Foundation for Monument Protection (DSD) since 1993 and is under the patronage of the Federal President
• the day is organized locally by countless organizers, monument owners, associations and initiatives as well as full-time monument conservators
• is a protected trademark of the DSD
