Talk, listening session and live music with the band Friends Don't Lie for their debut album release on May 29

The tapetenhaus talks are a regular pop rlp event format that takes place alternately in Koblenz and Mainz. It offers musicians, event organizers and other playersin the music and creative scene an open platform for exchange and networking.

In May, the band Friends Don't Lie will be a guest in Koblenz.
The band will present their debut album Zenit der Dramaturgie and provide insights into the creation process.
Together with presenter Finn Holtzika, the band will talk about their DIY approach and their attitude, which is also reflected in their lyrics.

In 2023, Friends Don't Lie came out of nowhere and conquered the German pop-punk scene at record speed. Within a month, the trio won the Warsteiner with their first ever performance. This was quickly followed by appearances at Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Reload, Lollapalooza & Reeperbahn Festival as well as an invitation to Wacken Open Air and their own headline shows.

The band has long since emerged from the shadows of the contest winners and proven that they are here to stay. What does it all still need? The long-awaited debut album. Maybe in this case, what takes a long time will turn out well after all. In May 2026, when the long-awaited longplayer "Zenit der Dramaturgie" finally sees the light of day.
