Confronting queer hostility - in solidarity, openly, together

a joint event by Rat & Tat Center for Queer Life Bremen, the Bremen Protestant Church and belladonna.

At a time when queer-hostile positions are being openly expressed again and basic democratic values are coming under pressure, there is a need for spaces for exchange, attitude and mutual encouragement. What responsibility do the church, queer community and civil society in Bremen have to defend diversity and human rights? In this panel discussion, representatives from queer self-organizations, the church and society will enter into conversation with each other. They will talk about experiences, lines of conflict and common scope for action.

The central question is: How can we counteract anti-queer developments and strengthen democratic structures?

Following the panel discussion, we invite you to a moderated public discussion.
