Tango Blues

For those new to this music: tango is a style built on rhythm, tension, and close musical dialog. Montanelli explores this tradition on piano with a touch of blues influence, giving the music a different color without losing its roots.

Pablo Yamil is a bandoneonist known for his work with Tanghetto and for performing with major international dance companies. His playing brings a strong, expressive voice that defines the sound of tango.

Hearing these two musicians together is rare. They come from important, established projects, and their combination creates a blend of tango and blues that is both accessible and distinctive - a chance to experience something familiar in feeling yet new in sound.
