Tango & Fútbol – Musikalische Lesung & Milonga

Tango and soccer - two Argentinian passions that have little in common at first glance and yet have a lot in common. Both tell of identity, emotion, community and movement.

In this musical reading, ZEIT journalist Oliver Fritsch reads texts about soccer, homeland and myth - cleverly, pointedly and with an eye for the political in the popular. The Argentinian pianist and composer Sebastián Volco will provide the musical accompaniment to the evening with specially curated music and video sequences ranging from tango and contemporary music to visual narration.

An evening between reading and concert, between stadium and dance hall.

Followed by a milonga with DJ Annette Kießling.
