For the 25th anniversary of Enjoy Jazz, BASF made a world premiere possible in November 2023 in front of a completely sold-out audience: the summit meeting of two giants of European jazz, Nik Bärtsch ("style-defining", FAZ) and Tania Giannouli ("hypnotic", UK Jazz News). Both have now also caused a sensation in the USA, the motherland of jazz, with their expansion of the piano's tonal possibilities and are listed in the most important jazz polls. So their summit meeting at Enjoy Jazz was almost bound to have a sequel. Last year, the two recorded their first album together, again at BASF. The official release concert will now follow at Enjoy Jazz 2026. And in the very hall where they first met musically: the BASF Gesellschaftshaus. There is no better and more stylish way to celebrate the importance of European jazz.
