Tante Tofu's rock opera "SchieLa" - Zapparesque band
After the success of the play "Am Tag, als Bach Frank Zappa traf", Tante Tofu continues her proven concept with the new rock opera "SchieLa": shrill, colorful and musically versatile. In addition to compositions by Frank Zappa, the program also includes numerous original pieces.

The band, founded in 2009 by Christiane Seebach and Andreas Steinhardt after a visit to the Zappanale, combines rock, blues, jazz and prog rock to create an unmistakable style. With changing line-ups and projects, Tante Tofu has been present throughout Germany for years, including rock oratorios such as "Carl Heinz" and "Sauerkraut". For "SchieLa", an experienced ensemble of musicians with roots in a wide variety of genres will once again be on stage, interpreting the zappaesque soundscape with their own signature style.

Having started out spontaneously in 2010 as the "Alsterbrothers Bluesband" for a party at their soccer club, the five guys, who three years and several gigs later call themselves HEY HEY REVOLVER, are still making music together today. Without a slick game plan, simply for the fun of riffs, rock and good songs - and the obligatory after-work beer in the local pub. After a creative break and gigs in their hometown, on the Baltic coast, in Cologne, Berlin and a betting office turned club in Paris, the Hamburg band finally returned live in 2024.

When HEY HEY REVOLVER play, it's all about the moment. It's about friendship and coming out with a bigger grin than the one you went in with. With off-road bangers like "The Hitcher", laid-back grooving indie tracks like "Butterflies" or "It's All Too Much" and a sound that could be described as 'Tom Petty with Dirt', it's safe to say that HEY HEY REVOLVER will still make you feel damn good in 2026.
