Tanya Raab liest aus „Shalom zusammen!“

Jewish life away from clichés.

Whether wearing a Star of David chain at the gym or a rainbow kippah while shopping - queer and feminist activist Tanya Raab shows that Jewish life can be lived differently than you might expect. She confidently talks about her everyday life between tradition and modernity as well as her daily experiences with anti-Semitism, clarifies widespread stereotypes and settles accounts with the German culture of remembrance.

The event will be moderated by Meral Ziegler, Literaturbüro NRW e.V. and is being held in cooperation with the Düsseldorf Central Library and Respekt und Mut, Gesellschaft für Christlich-Jüdische Zusammenarbeit in Düsseldorf e.V. (Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation in Düsseldorf).
