Dancing highlights
The dance gala with Enrique Gasa Valga invites you to an evening that reveals the entire spectrum of his choreographic work. In a series of selected scenes, the internationally renowned artist and the Limonada Dance Company show the diversity of his signature style - from lively, joyful dance to haunting character studies inspired by biographies.
Limonada Latin Flair opens the evening with an explosion of rhythm and southern temperament. In Romy, Valga paints the portrait of an actress caught between fragility and strength in a poetic and at the same time ruthlessly open way. With the pas de deux from Der Fall Wagner, we encounter the intensity of an ambivalent artistic personality, while Frida - Pasión por la vida makes the passionate, colorful and at the same time painful world of the painter Frida Kahlo tangible through dance.
An excerpt from The Great Gatsby seduces us into the dazzling world of the "Roaring Twenties" - full of glamor and illusion, but also with a hint of transience. The highlight of the evening is Boléro, whose unstoppable pull unfolds its full effect in a powerful ensemble performance. The dance gala thus becomes much more than a showcase of works - it is an impressive encounter with the artistic diversity and expressive power of Enrique Gasa Valga's dance theater.
