Tanzwerke Vanek Preuß: CHILDREN OF PROMETHEUS

In the organizer's words:

Children of Prometheus is an intergenerational, intercultural and inclusive project series for dance enthusiasts of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. The focus is on people - fluctuating and searching and in their community-building and formative power. Against the backdrop of current social processes and developments, Children of Prometheus explores urgent themes from different phases of life, which are universal at their core and independent of age or culture.
Karel Vaněk and Guido Vaněk-Preuß are implementing the project together with teachers from the TanzWerkstatt for children and young people at the Brotfabrik cultural center in Bonn. They use processes of contemporary dance culture to arouse interest and curiosity in encounters and artistic experimentation for everyone who wants to discover dance as a shared and dialogical experience.
