Tea & Talk – Künstlerinnengespräch mit Corinna Heumann

For the exhibition HELDINNEN/SHEROES we cordially invite you to a series of artist talks! This was previously known as "Art & Cold Drink" and will remain the same concept, only the name will change to "Tea & Talk" for the cold season !

Every Wednesday from 5 to 6 pm, you can get to know the artists in person and gain special access to their works. The admission fee of €10 (reduced €6) includes a drink - perfect for our cozy museum café. This accompanying program to the exhibition offers you deeper insights into the individual works, but also the exchange with other art lovers!

On 26.11.2025, Corinna Heumann will talk about her work Atwood meets Ernst - On the Fragility of Humanity . In her works, Margaret Atwood exposes patriarchal, political and ecological power structures and creates oppressive future scenarios from current trends. Her "speculative fiction" shows women surviving in the totalitarian state of Gilead by adapting to male dominance, while education and fertility become a question of power. Atwood examines what humanity means under threat - her texts provide the basis for the content, Corinna Heumann's collages the visual resonance space. They combine utopia and trauma to create a new artistic language about power, gender and humanity. Corinna Heumann, born in Regensburg in 1962, studied at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C., and has exhibited internationally ever since. Her works can be found in private and public collections.
