Tea & Talk - Artist talk with Ljiljana Nedovic Hesselmann
Wed. October 29, 2025: 5:00 - 6:00 pm
For the exhibition HELDINNEN/SHEROES we cordially invite you to a series of artist talks! This was previously known as "Art & Cold Drink" and will remain the same concept, only the name will change to "Tea & Talk" for the cold season!
Every Wednesday from 5 to 6 pm, you can get to know the artists in person and gain special access to their works. The admission fee of €10 (reduced €6) includes a drink - perfect for our café, courtyard or roof terrace. This accompanying program to the exhibition offers you deeper insights into the individual works, but also the exchange with other art lovers!
On 29.10.2025 , Ljiljana Nedovic Hesselmann will talk about her work "Could I Have Been a Heroine?" / "Hätte ich eine Heldin sein können?" . In her work, the artist explores the question of whether she could muster the courage to resist even under repressive conditions. She was inspired by the courageous commitment of women to freedom and human dignity in countries such as Belarus and Iran, as well as by her visit to the exhibition "Women in Resistance against National Socialism" in Berlin. Excerpts from Hilde Coppi's farewell letter, which are part of her performance, lend the work a particularly haunting emotional depth.
Come along in large numbers and bring your friends, we look forward to seeing you!
