Full of star potential

Emanuel Blumin-Sint believes that the bassoon is far too rarely in the spotlight as a solo instrument - and wants to change that. The bassoonist is a scholarship holder of the German Foundation for Musical Life and winner of the Fanny Mendelssohn Prize, among others. This award enabled him to record his first solo album, which presents all facets of his instrument. Emanuel Blumin-Sint comes to the Laeiszhalle accompanied by accordionist Pavel Efremov. Together they will show how well their unusual instrumentation sounds together, whether with baroque music or music of the 20th century.
