TEMPEL FESTIVEL 2026 mit APEX TEN, ATOMIC MOLD, HIDAS, MOUNT HUSH und THE SPACELORDS

In the organizer's words:
Temple Festival 2026

When sound becomes vision and music transports the mind - that's when the Tempel opens its doors.

The Tempel Festival 2026 at Feierwerk Munich invites you to a night full of psychedelic expeditions, carried by heavy riffs and dazzling soundscapes.

This year, five bands will take to the stage: two local representatives of the local scene and three guests from further afield, from between Belgium and Italy. Together, they conjure up a ritual of hypnotic guitars, powerful grooves and endless jams that set body and mind in motion in equal measure.

From the colorful heights of psychedelic rock to the earthy currents of stoner to the dark depths of doom, an evening unfolds that is more than a concert - it is a collective journey through sound, trance and heaviness.

The Tempel Festival 2026 - step inside and let the sounds carry you away.

THE ACTS

APEX TEN

APEX TEN is a space rock, desert/stoner and psychedelic band from Liège (Belgium).
The trio mainly plays instrumental music with a touch of improvisation and offers a unique experience at every concert.
Their latest album "Aashray" has been highly praised by critics worldwide.
The band has also performed extensively in Belgium, France and the Netherlands, and their groundbreaking performance at DESERTFEST 2023 in Antwerp is still ringing in our ears. Their new album will be released at the end of 2025 on the German label Tonzonen Records.
Fans of Electric Moon, Colour Haze, Kyuss, Sungrazer or Hawkwind will quickly find their taste when APEX TEN develop their spacey, trippy and contemplative atmospheres. (Source: Organizer)

ATOMIC MOLD

The band ATOMIC MOLD was formed in 2014 from an idea by Fila Marco (drums) and Bonizzato Antonio (vocals, bass). Massella Luca joined later. The first, self-produced album was released in the same year. A split LP with the German band Mount Hush followed in 2015 via ELECTRIC VALLEY RECORDS.
After Luca's departure, the duo played successfully for a year as a bass and drum formation. Luca returned in 2016, and concerts in Europe with FATSO JETSON, COSMIC DEAD, MOTHERSHIP and others followed. In 2017, guitarist Davide Marotta joined the band, and with "Hybrid Slow Flood" (2017) the band gained further attention, which led to more gigs in 2018. Work on new material began in 2019; a split record with ARTEAGA was released in 2020, which quickly sold out. After Marco's departure in 2021, Andrea "Tabbi" De Bernardi (ex-ISAAK) took over the drums. From 2022, the band worked on their third album. In 2023 they returned live, sharing the stage with MR BISON, BONGZILLA or MESSA and playing at the PIETRASONICA festival with CHURCH OF MISERY and EYEHATEGOD.
In 2024, they increasingly performed across Europe, for example in Paris, Berlin and at the FUZZTIVAL in Denmark. Appearances at the FESTIVAL DELLE PERIFERIE (Genoa) and BEAR STONER FEST (Croatia) are scheduled for 2025.
Their sound is instrumental, psychedelic stoner doom with dark vocals, improvised jams and hypnotic mantras.

HIDAS

The trio HIDAS unleashes a dark soundscape that explores the boundaries of doom metal. Florian Bätz (guitar), Richard Noyn (bass) and Christoph Mühlbauer (drums) form a haunting instrumental experience that transports listeners into a captivating world of heaviness. The profound sounds and powerful rhythms of HIDAS promise a unique journey through the abysses of the doom metal genre. Immerse yourself in a sonic adventure without words, where every note tells a dark and leaden story. (Source: Bandinfo)

MOUNT HUSH

MOUNT HUSH 's album"II" promises a transformative journey through psychedelic soundscapes, taking listeners from lush valleys to jagged peaks. The album builds on the foundation of their debut, but amplifies the raw intensity with a rougher sound recorded in their own studio.
Mixed by Maximilian Wörle and mastered by Dimo Conidas, the album offers a finely tuned but untamed sound.
The album opens with an extended version of their single"All I See". It sets the tone with tremolo-soaked fuzz guitars and haunting vocals."Golden Sun" follows, offering an otherworldly atmosphere that evolves into expansive melodies and a sprawling solo.
"The Hunt" is a krautrock-inspired track that segues into heavy blues, capturing the tension and reward of a tough, yet rewarding journey. The first half ends with"Blues For The Dead", an atmospheric blues piece that culminates in a powerful and haunting finale.
The B-side begins with the energetic, punky"Grey Smoke", driven by relentless drums. The longest track on the album,"Celestial Eyes", already released last year as a single track, shines in new splendor thanks to the refined mix.
"54" begins with a striking riff and unfolds into far-reaching melodies, accompanied by an atmospheric interlude with an extended flute passage.
The album ends with a cathartic, heavy fuzz track and a powerful vocal line that conjures up the image of an apocalyptic world, but gives hope for new beginnings.
With their characteristic psychedelic depth and experimental energy, MOUNT HUSH are entering new, uncharted territory. (Source: band info)

THE SPACELORDS

THE SPACELORDS were founded in spring 2008 by Matthias 'Hazi' Wettstein (guitar), Marcus Schnitzler (drums) and Klaus Werz (bass). Holdi Pape joined the band in May 2008. He underlined the music with his flute and stayed until the end of 2009. Klaus left the band in May 2014.
With Ekhard 'Akee' Kazmaier on bass guitar, THE SPACELORDS found their perfect line-up in June 2014. In summer 2015 THE SPACELORDS became a member of the Tonzonen Records label family.
With an elegant combination of spacey melodies and powerful riffs, they have created their unique sound. An intense psychedelic journey and magical voyage of discovery into cosmic dimensions.(Source: Organizer)
