Teresa Reichl Teresa Reichl had a single dream in her school days: to be reprimanded - for gross mischief. But none of her lies bent the beams far enough, none of her paper airplanes took the cake. The mischief was simply never crude enough. But today, the winner of the German Cabaret Award has a stage to herself, the whole evening to herself and a complete desire to finally get it on.

This show is going to be too much, too heavy and too elaborate. Too queer, too fat and too loud. It will be too pointed and too nice, too specific and too general. It will be everything that makes Teresa Reichl what she is. And then we'll see how crude you can get into mischief!

Teresa Reichl was born in 1996 in Haunersdorf near Simbach near Landau an der Isar (yes, the village is that small). She studied German and English to become a secondary school teacher in Regensburg. With her degree in the bag, she didn't turn the classroom into her stage after all, but took off as a live artist. Since then, she has been touring the comedy and cabaret stages of the German-speaking world, winning awards and making classic German literature comedy- and social media-ready.

Since 2020, she has been summarizing works by important German writers for her audience on TikTok, proposing an alternative literary canon in her book "Muss ich das gelesen haben" and advocating the democratization of the discourse on high culture. She also does this by presuming to make highly esteemed greats of German culture the subject of her stage programs, TikTok videos or podcast discussions in colloquial language.
